Membership

For those golfers who are looking to play golf more than once a fortnight, membership of Whitley makes economic sense, being such great value at only £300 per annum, £170 for under 23's and £70 for a junior. For this small fee you get the opportunity to play as much golf as you want whenever you want for no additional cost. The membership year runs from 1st November to 31st October. There is an option for adults to spread the payments out over 3 installments of £110, these are to be paid by post dated cheque, and should be dated intial joining date, 1st March and 1st July.

You can now join for £240, which will give you unlimited golf up until November. There is an option to pay £125 now and £125 in July.

Apart from the financial aspect there are a number of other advantages to being a member.

County Card:
All members are entitled to a county card that enables you to play at courses over the country for a reduced rate. The maximum you should have to pay for a round in Wiltshire is £20.

Competitions:
By being a member of Whitley you will have the opportunity to submit 3 cards and receive an EGU certified handicap. Once you have a handicap you will then be able to join in with our well supported competitions, and play up to 50 competitions a year, and hopefully win a share of the £’s available to the highest finishers.

Club Matches:
By regularly playing in the competitions you will be considered for the club matches. This provides you with a great chance to play competitive golf on other courses in the Wessex league, a league which we have been past champions.

Social:
Here at Whitley we pride ourselves on the quality of our social occasions held throughout the year, ranging from quiz nights, to balls, dinners and other themed parties. This provides a great chance for you to meet new people and have a great evening out, and of course partners and friends are always welcome. The clubhouse is also available for private hire, and being a member you will receive a substantial discount on the cost of hire.

Wi-Fi enabled clubhouse:
Now that the clubhouse is Wi-Fi enabled, you are welcome to bring your laptop along and use our facilities to work.
