New Ladies Standard Scratch
Our course was recently reviewed by the ladies golf union. As a result of this the standard scratch has been reduced to 69. This therefore means that every ladies handicap has gone up by at least one shot. As part of my handicap review some ladies have gone up by more than a shot.

Whitley enrols on Central handicap Database
I have now enrolled Whitley on the Central handicap database (CHD)
For the majority of our members, this will have little importance, but for people who regularly play competitions at other courses this will help you.

Team Whitley come out on top in 2011
Congratulations to Captain Kev Shoob and his team who have dominated the Wessex league this year. Winning the league, Summer Knock out and finals day, held here at Whitley Golf Club. Summer Ball tickets on Sale
Tickets are now on sale for the annual summer ball which takes place on Saturday 13th August. This years theme is 'Masquerade'. Tickets cost £25 and include a champagne reception, 3 course meal and after dinner entertainment. The dress code is black tie or lounge suit with an optional masquerade.

Junior Lessons booming
