We’ve experienced a full range of winter weather over the past few weeks, including rain, snow, and a much-appreciated dry and colder spell between Christmas and New Year.
Unfortunately, recent heavy rainfall has required us to keep the trolley ban in place. The ground conditions have also limited our ability to carry out routine maintenance.
Tree and Hedge Work
This week, we hired a woodchipper to process various tree and hedge cuttings. With more tree and hedge work planned, we will hire the chipper again before spring to ensure these areas are properly managed.
Looking Ahead
As soon as conditions allow, we’ll begin mowing to tidy up areas in need of attention. Once temperatures consistently rise, we will apply a liquid feed to the greens to ensure nutrients are available to support soil health and plant growth.
Good work. The need to keep trolleys off the course is understood even by us oldies
