First we'd like to thank those who have switched to carrying bags and being mindful of your trolley use. It really helps with the wear and tear of Winter golf.
Dry, mild weather has provided strong growth for the time of year. We have applied a liquid seaweed feed to the greens and approaches this week to help keep a healthy plant.
We plan to verti drain (deep tine) the greens and surrounds over the coming week to help alleviate compaction and improve the movement of moisture.
Mowing heights have increased on greens to 6mm and fairways to 20mm for the Autumn & Winter period. The rough continues to be cut at 75mm year round.
