Course Notes 27.06.24

Growth rates have slowed as a result of the warm, dry weather. We have been watering the greens each morning to maintain the health of the surface. The greens and surrounds were verticut Wednesday to help refine the sward and control the lateral growth. A process we aim to perform monthly during the growing season.

We have started to make new tee markers that are 'Robot resistant'. We have replaced the forward tees on 1/10, 2, 3 & 4 so far. The plan is to replace all markers over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience while we have come up with a suitable replacement to the current markers.

Work on the ditch to the 7th green was unfortunately delayed but in preparation we have begun to cut back low hanging branches and control some of the undergrowth amongst the trees in the area, so this should improve playability if your ball happens to wander to the left of the green.

Enjoy the bump and run,

Keeper of the Green
